Special Funds from the Reinickendorf District Assembly (BVV)

The Reinickendorf District Council uses its special funds to support individual projects and purchases with a local focus. Eligible for funding are, for example, social, cultural, or sporting events; publications; purchases made by clubs; and projects involving children, youth, older adults, or people with disabilities. Eligible applicants are primarily clubs, associations, organizations, institutions, and church congregations based in Reinickendorf that have a registration number from the Senate Department of Finance. Projects by companies that serve the public good may also be eligible. Funding is generally provided on a partial basis. Applicants must contribute at least 50% of the total eligible expenses from their own funds; for smaller organizations, volunteer work, in-kind contributions, and third-party funding may also be counted toward this requirement under certain circumstances. Ongoing or retroactive funding is not available.
