How can we bring to light stories from World War II that have received little attention so far? During a three-day series of events in Berlin, people from Germany and Poland will exchange views on historical experiences and the culture of remembrance. Joint explorations, discussions, and creative workshops will open up different perspectives on history. This will create new opportunities to convey historical narratives through art.

What is it about?

The event series “The Stories That Want to Be Told… And Building Bridges” explores little-known stories from World War II. The focus is on German-Polish exchange and creative ways of teaching history.

Who is it for?

The program is open to anyone interested. Through explorations, discussions, and workshops, participants will engage with historical sites and experiment with creative methods using text, film, audio, and images.
