Corporate Engagement Beyond the Core Business

Through the Berlin Business Award, the Governing Mayor and the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) jointly recognize companies’ social commitment. The award honors companies that, together with their employees, assume social responsibility and make a long-term commitment to Berlin beyond their core business—through financial, material, or personnel support. The award is presented in three categories: for companies with up to nine employees, those with ten to 150 employees, and those with more than 150 employees. Three companies from each category are selected for the awards ceremony. The grand prize in each category is €3,000. The two other finalists in each category each receive €1,000.
