Special Funds from the Steglitz-Zehlendorf District Council

The Steglitz-Zehlendorf District Council supports specific projects that benefit the district and its residents and that could not be carried out without a grant. Eligible applicants are primarily clubs, associations, organizations, institutions, and church congregations located in the district. Funding is available, for example, for events, publications, purchases, exchanges with sister cities, as well as sports, children’s, youth, senior citizens’, environmental, and other projects.

You must provide at least 50% of the required funds yourself and submit a cost and financing plan. Retroactive funding is not possible. You may apply for special funding for the same project only once every two years. There is no upper limit on the grant amount. A total of €50,000 is available annually. You should submit your application as early as possible.
