The RWE Foundation supports nonprofit projects for children and young people in Europe. It funds initiatives that promote equal opportunities, reduce social disadvantage, and foster international and intercultural understanding and social cohesion. Only projects carried out by nonprofit or charitable organizations are eligible for funding.
The project should be long-term in nature, have a sustainable impact, and, if possible, generate a multiplier effect. As a rule, the RWE Foundation does not provide sole funding. The funding period can last up to three years. Funding is provided for grants of €20,000 or more. Grant applications are submitted via the RWE Foundation’s online form.
