About the Program
Through the “Mentoring Works!” grant program, Affirmative supports organizations that provide social mentoring to socioeconomically disadvantaged children and youth and are currently facing financial hardship. A total of 5 grants of 10,000 euros each will be awarded. The funds are not earmarked for a specific purpose and can be used flexibly.
To be eligible, your organization must offer social mentoring, work with disadvantaged young people, and be experiencing financial difficulties.
The selection process consists of two steps: First, the Federal Association for Social Mentoring reviews the basic criteria. Then, an independent jury makes a decision based on the anonymized applications. Factors evaluated include impact, financial urgency, quality of implementation, diversity, and regional aspects.
Timeframe : March 1 through March 31, 2026 (application), notification by April 30, 2026
Grant amount : €10,000 (per organization; 5 grants in total)
