About the Program
Through “InterKulturMachtKunst – KunstMachtInterKultur,” the Federal Association of Networks of Migrant Organizations (BV NeMO) supports extracurricular educational projects in the field of culture as part of the “Kultur macht stark” program. The goal is to provide children and young people with limited educational opportunities access to cultural education.
You will develop your project as part of a local alliance consisting of at least three organizations. These may include civil society organizations, educational institutions, or cultural organizations. One organization will submit the application. Schools may participate but cannot submit an application.
Funding is available for projects in various artistic fields, such as theater, music, media, literature, or the visual arts. The programs take place outside of school and are primarily aimed at children and youth between the ages of 7 and 18, particularly those with a migration background or who are at risk.
Important: Your project must be supplementary, reach new target groups, and be implemented collaboratively within the partnership.
Timeframe : Application deadlines are April 22, 2026, and October 7, 2026
Grant amount : 500 to 17,000 euros, depending on the area
