Grants for Self-Organized Initiatives

The Movement Hub supports self-organized initiatives and groups with grants for projects focused on climate justice and socio-ecological transformation. Currently, the focus is on projects that strengthen progressive social positions, support anti-racist work, or promote community organizing, capacity building, public outreach, and cross-movement collaboration.

Funding is available, for example, for printing costs, honoraria, workshops, or travel expenses. Self-organized groups that pursue nonprofit goals, operate democratically, and are primarily active in Germany are eligible to apply. Individuals, foundations, political parties, and government-affiliated or for-profit organizations are ineligible for funding. Applications must be submitted via the Movement Hub’s online form.
