Funds for Volunteer Engagement in Neighborhoods (FEIN)

About the Program

FEIN stands for “Volunteer Engagement in Neighborhoods.” The program is aimed at volunteers, initiatives, and nonprofit organizations in Lichtenberg whose ideas improve public spaces or strengthen community facilities.

Funding is available for material costs (such as supplies, technology, and equipment) up to a maximum of €3,500 that you need for your project. Projects must be volunteer-driven and accessible to everyone—for example, beautifying green spaces, furnishing community centers, or improvements to social facilities.

Contributions from participants are expected to take the form of volunteer time, and funding may be awarded only once per applicant. Applications will be reviewed, and funded projects must be documented.
