Funding for Your Social Project

Aktion Mensch supports nonprofit organizations based in Germany that advocate for people with disabilities, children and adolescents, or people facing significant social challenges. Funding is provided for projects in the areas of employment, housing, and the social environment, as well as initiatives for young people. In doing so, Aktion Mensch emphasizes inclusion, participation, and measurable impact: Target groups should be actively and equally involved in the project, and the initiatives must align with the objectives of the respective funding program. Depending on the type and scope of the project, grants of up to €300,000 are available. Smaller projects can be funded without requiring the organization to contribute its own funds. Nonprofit organizations based in Berlin are also eligible to apply. You can use Aktion Mensch’s funding checker to determine which specific funding program is right for you.
