About the Program
The Partnerships for Democracy support projects that strengthen democratic participation and combat discrimination. In Treptow-Köpenick, there is a need for projects that, among other things, develop intercultural initiatives, involve people who have experienced discrimination, raise awareness about the far right, or design participatory processes to address local challenges.
In Schöneweide, the focus is on projects that promote an inclusive environment, involve migrant communities, create spaces for interaction in public areas, or identify and positively transform spaces where people feel unsafe. Political education programs addressing racism, antisemitism, and hostility toward the LGBTQ+ community are also expressly encouraged.
Consultation period through March 11, 2026; application deadline March 15, 2026
