Community-Based Cultural Work in Reinickendorf: Funding for a Cultural Project

About the Program

The Decentralized Cultural Work program in Reinickendorf supports independent cultural initiatives (e.g., art and cultural associations, independent artists, or groups) with grants for events and projects in the district. Your project should enrich cultural life and contribute to the development and preservation of a cultural infrastructure in Reinickendorf. Eligible expenses include those necessary for carrying out the project (e.g., invitations/posters, fees, postage, GEMA fees, costumes, set design). Development costs are not reimbursed. You are expected to contribute your own labor (e.g., organization/coordination). For professional female artists, fees of up to €250 are funded; for advertising, you can apply for up to €200. Submit your application in writing to the Advisory Board, including a project description, a financial plan, and consent to the disclosure of your data.

Timeframe: Application deadlines: March 31 (current calendar year) and October 31 (following calendar year); the funding period generally ends on December 1 of the calendar year
Grant amount: Not specified as a total amount; includes, among other things, fees of up to 250 € (per professional artist ) and advertising costs of up to 200 €
