About the Program
Through the CERV program, the European Commission funds projects that strengthen civic engagement and participation in democratic life. Funding is provided for initiatives that promote civic education, media literacy, and critical thinking, or that develop participatory formats and exchanges.
You must implement the project in partnership with at least one other organization from another EU country or participating country. Projects are generally transnational in scope and should provide European added value.
Eligible applicants include civil society organizations, public institutions, and other legal entities. Projects typically run for between 12 and 24 months.
Funding is provided as a grant with a fixed budget. The requested grant is generally at least 75,000 euros.
