Circus Makes You Strong

Zirkus macht stark/Zirkus für alle e. V. supports extracurricular circus education projects for children and youth ages 3 to 18 who are at risk. The projects must be new and supplementary and may not replace existing programs or those receiving other forms of public funding.

Implementation requires a local partnership involving at least three partners. Applications may be submitted by legal entities such as associations, as well as, for example, school support associations or municipal institutions. Schools and municipalities themselves are not eligible to apply. Applicants must demonstrate expertise in circus education.

Funding is available for, among other things, circus classes, circus weeks, circus camps, and circus workshops. In principle, up to €30,000 per year is available per applicant. In Berlin, funded projects must be implemented by the end of summer vacation at the latest.
