About the Program
“Block Up” is a project of Wir für Demokratie e. V. It supports civic engagement where people live: in neighborhoods and communities. The goal is to encourage more people to participate in democracy and to make it easier for them to get involved.
You can get involved by networking, initiating your own projects, or promoting the project within your community. Collaboration with influencers and local stakeholders who spread the word about civic engagement within their networks is particularly important.
The project is nonpartisan and works to make participation accessible to everyone. The focus is on building an active community that brings democratic processes to life in a practical way.
