2026 Neighborhood Budget: Neighborhood Ideas in Marzahn-Hellersdorf

About the Program

Through the 2026 Neighborhood Budget, the Marzahn-Hellersdorf District Office supports volunteer efforts in local neighborhoods. Individuals, initiatives, and nonprofit organizations can apply for up to €1,500 per project to cover material costs. Eligible projects include, for example, planting campaigns, raised gardens, cleanup and beautification efforts, courtyard concerts, community cooking events, or other neighborhood-focused activities. The district will reimburse material expenses directly related to the project. The following are not eligible for funding: fees, personnel costs, charges, services, commercial activities, ongoing association expenses, investments, or projects that have already begun. All projects must be completed by the end of 2026.

Applications may be submitted immediately; deadline is December 31, 2026
