For many artists from the Arab world, Europe is not only a new place to live, but also a new artistic terrain - with language barriers, financial limitations and little visibility. This is precisely where the Zad: Miles for Connection programme from the Allianz Foundation .

Zad promotes the mobility of Arab artists in Europe . It covers travel costs, helps with accommodation and everyday life, finances translations and the transport of materials - so that the works end up where they belong: in the public eye.

The aim is for migrant voices to continue to be part of cultural life in Europe. Applications are possible all year round - for exhibitions, performances, festivals and more.
