The award honours the commitment of children and young people between the ages of 10 and 27. Children and young people can be nominated from youth leisure centres, schools, clubs, associations and private individuals. The aim is to give them the recognition and appreciation they deserve for their voluntary work. After all, voluntary work is not a matter of course in addition to the often busy school day, but it is of great value to them and our society. The prize is awarded annually.
