The Youth Democracy Award honours projects by young people that actively contribute to strengthening democracy . You can apply with your project until mid-February 2026.
Young people between the ages of 14 and 27 from all over Germany with their own democracy-related projects.
The award makes the commitment and ideas of young people visible and strengthens their role in democratic society. The award motivates participation and promotes innovative approaches to democratic coexistence.
Award ceremony expected to take place on 22 May 2026 in Berlin as part of the Youth Engagement Congress
Application until 22 February 2026.
