The STERNENFISCHER volunteer centre and the Treptow-Köpenick Office for Social Affairs award the "Stars of the Year" volunteer award every year. The prize is awarded to individuals and/or organisations that have shown outstanding voluntary commitment in and for Treptow-Köpenick. The award was created to mark the 15th anniversary of STERNENFISCHER in 2023. The prerequisite for an application is that the commitment takes place in Treptow-Köpenick. Organisations applying must be non-profit and politically neutral and work with volunteers. The award winners will be honoured at the kick-off event for the Treptow-Köpenick Volunteer Days. They will receive a sculpture, a screen print and a certificate.
