The District Medal of the District of Pankow is awarded annually at a reception organised jointly by the District Assembly and the District Office. It honours citizens who have shown exemplary commitment over many years to the reputation of the district of Pankow, the quality of people's lives, the preservation of jobs, social infrastructure, tolerant coexistence, equal opportunities and democracy. The medal honours people who have rendered outstanding services to the common good and coexistence in the district.
