The Nisa Volunteer Award is about publicly recognising Muslim women for their voluntary work in Berlin and highlighting their work. The award makes the voluntary commitment of Muslim women visible and recognises special achievements for the community in the city.
The award is given to Muslim women from Berlin who are involved in voluntary work and are nominated by associations, mosques or organisations.
Awarded by the German Muslim Centre Berlin e. V. in cooperation with the Muslim Volunteer Agency Berlin (MEA) ; award ceremony at an annual event in Berlin.
