The award recognises projects that specifically improve the care and living situation of young people (18-39) with cancer and the consequences of the disease .

Volunteers or groups with a project on this topic can apply. People who are already involved with the foundation, work there or are involved in project work are excluded.

The award highlights voluntary approaches that support young adults with cancer and initiate improvements in care and everyday life . It therefore focuses on practical solutions that directly address the needs of the target group.

Submission by e-mail as one PDF file. Documents from 15 December of the previous year, submission deadline 31 March (award year); the date of receipt of the e-mail is decisive. Review by the foundation team, assessment by a multi-professional jury. The award ceremony will take place on 14 May 2027.
