In the "machen!2026" competition, you and your project ideas team are looking for ways in which local engagement can strengthen social cohesion. The projects should provide encounters, mutual support or creative contributions to coexistence in smaller communities. It focusses on innovative contributions that strengthen local cohesion in eastern Germany . The aim is to make the project ideas visible and enable their realisation with prize money.
Applications are open to non-profit organisations from the eastern German states, e.g. associations, foundations or cooperatives; initiatives without their own legal form can participate in cooperation with an organisation.
