Lichtenberg District Office

A neighbour who has been committed to helping older people for years? A work colleague who has developed a great idea for the neighbourhood? The owner of a shop who quickly set up a free educational project for refugees? Voluntary work is important and enriches community life in the district. To mark this occasion, the district mayor is once again awarding the Lichtenberg Citizens' Medal this year. The Lichtenberg district office is calling for particularly committed people to be nominated for this honour. The district office awards this special honour once a year to people who have shown outstanding voluntary commitment to the common good. In principle, the entire spectrum of voluntary work is eligible for an award. An important criterion is to justify the special nature of the commitment in the proposal.
