With the Integration Award, the district would like to recognise special achievements by associations, initiatives, organisations or individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the equal participation of people with a history of migration. The award is organised as an open competition. The award is based on criteria such as sustainable impact, originality of the ideas, role model function and party-political neutrality. A jury reviews the proposals and selects the award winners.
