Companies, public institutions, educational establishments, NGOs, associations, organisations, networks and other initiatives in Germany that are implementing a demography project are eligible to apply.

The award focuses on projects that respond to social changes - for example in the world of work, health, diversity or skills development. This highlights solutions that can help to adapt structures to new needs.
If nominated, the digital ddp Future Pitch will take place on 19 March 2026. The award ceremony will take place on 4 June 2026 at Volkshaus Jena.
The German Demography Award is not endowed.
