Senate Department for Labour, Social Affairs, Equality, Integration, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination
Since 1987, the Berlin Women's Prize has been awarded to female personalities who have made outstanding contributions to gender equality. Particularly forward-looking and innovative contributions are recognised. All citizens are entitled to nominate someone. An independent jury selects the award winner according to the criteria set out in the application documents.
