The foundation supports rapid assistance in emergencies and projects that relieve people in everyday life in the Mitte district. There are two ways: individuals can receive direct support if they are in need of help - especially in the case of social or health-related disadvantages. In addition, non-profit organisations can apply for funding to implement or secure social services in the areas of health, youth and elderly care or welfare.

On the one hand, direct support for individuals in need (up to €500) is subsidised. On the other hand, non-profit organisations can finance projects that support people - for example in the healthcare sector, in youth and elderly care or in the welfare sector. Projects that establish or maintain structures so that people in need receive long-term support are also eligible.
