About the programme

You can submit ideas with your initiative, association or volunteer project to make queer life in Berlin's districts more visible and sustainable. A total of €250,000 is available for this, divided into two thematic priorities in 2026.

Funding priority 1: Magnus Hirschfeld Day - Berlin protects the rainbow arc
Funding priority 2: Strengthening queer life in the districts

With this programme, the Senate Department SenASGIVA invites Berlin initiatives, associations and volunteers to submit projects that strengthen queer life realities locally. In May, one focus will be on events and campaigns for Magnus Hirschfeld Day that centre on history, solidarity and basic rights. The second focus throughout the year will be on offers, meeting places, counselling and intersectional projects in districts with a weak queer infrastructure. Co-operation between districts is possible.

Application deadline 15 February 2026
available in total €250,000
