About the foundation
The Conrad Foundation Citizens* for Mitte was established in 2009 by the District Office of Mitte in Berlin. The foundation's assets come from a bequest to the district. The aim is to strengthen civic engagement in the Mitte district and to maintain or initiate new structures in the neighbourhood.

The Conrad Foundation Citizens* for Mitte (District Office Mitte of Berlin) supports district-related projects in the Mitte district that strengthen the community. These include environmental protection and nature conservation, education, health/sport, art/culture as well as equality, tolerance and international understanding; an exchange of opinions is also expressly desired. Applications: Individuals and non-profit organisations, no public bodies. No deadline.
