Through the Neukölln Partnership for Democracy (PfD), you can implement projects that strengthen local democracy in 2026. We are looking for proposals with two objectives:

(1) Enabling positive experiences with participation, e.g. making participation a practical experience, imparting knowledge about democracy and building trust in processes;

(2) Address people who are sceptical about democracy, e.g. open up spaces for democratic exchange and develop a constructive approach to scepticism. Your project must take place in Berlin-Neukölln and be implemented in 2026.

You can apply for up to €10,000 per project; micro-projects can apply for up to €1,000 on an ongoing basis (as long as funds are available). Important: Advance consultation is mandatory. You must submit the project proposal with financing plan by 17 March 2026.
