What is it about?

The District Mayor Erika Heß Foundation supports people in need in the Mitte district, especially children and young people as well as people with disabilities. It also supports projects that require start-up funding and are intended as "help for self-help". Applications can be submitted by people who want to work for the common good in Mitte; publicly funded organisations are excluded. The maximum funding amount is €5,000. The application must be completed in full, signed and sent to the District Office Mitte (SPK 2).

What is supported?

On the one hand, direct support is provided for children and young people in need through no fault of their own, as well as for people in need. On the other hand, the foundation can support projects that require start-up funding and are designed to "help people help themselves".

Who can submit an application?

In principle, any person who feels addressed and wants to get involved for the common good in the Mitte district can submit an application. This does not apply to publicly funded organisations.
