The Partnerships for Democracy support projects that strengthen democratic participation and counteract discrimination. In Treptow-Köpenick, projects that develop intercultural offerings, involve people who have experienced discrimination, raise awareness against the far right or organise participatory processes on local challenges are in demand.
In Schöneweide, the focus is on projects that promote an inclusive environment, involve migrant communities, create meeting spaces in public spaces or make spaces of fear visible and transform them in a positive way. Political education programmes against racism, anti-Semitism and queer hostility are also expressly encouraged.
