"The day of honour. For you. For us. For everyone." invites you to join us on 23 May 2026 for the first nationwide day of participation to mark the birthday of our Basic Law. You can experience how joint commitment connects people and strengthens our society.

This hands-on day is for anyone who wants to stand up for others or meet people who make a difference. You will find out how you can organise small or large campaigns or get involved in existing campaigns. It's all about meeting people, volunteering and doing things together with practical relevance - locally in your city or digitally.

How can you take part?
You can plan your own hands-on activity in advance and enter it in the Engagement Finder. Alternatively, you can look for activities in your neighbourhood and take part there.

Is there a deadline or participation fee?
There is no fixed participation fee for join-in activities. Activities can be entered up until the day of the event.
