The forum "Inclusion and Participation" continues a focus from the 3rd Berlin Engagement Conference and offers space for exchange on inclusive participation in Berlin initiatives and organisations. You can contribute your own perspectives and think ahead together. There will be preparatory digital meetings.
From 14 to 24 April, Berlin Foundations Week 2026 will bring a wide range of events on social engagement and shaping the future to the city. Under the motto "WHY THE FUTURE NEEDS US", foundations will present workshops, discussions, readings and encounters for interested and committed people. Many programme items are open and accessible, in some cases with registration, and offer practical insights into the work of the foundations. The week is organised by the Berliner Stiftungen e.V. association.
Berlin State Volunteer Agency
The Berlin State Volunteer Agency is organising the 19th Berlin Volunteer Exchange in the Rotes Rathaus. Organisations can present themselves with a stand and talk to interested people. The aim is to attract new volunteers. Associations and organisations can register to take part.
Landesnetzwerk Bürgerengagement Berlin e.V.
In the "Young Commitment" forum, you can meet other young committed people and experts to share experiences and work together on questions about commitment today. Topics include ways to get involved, recognition, perspectives and conflict culture in your practice. The discussions are open and practice-orientated.

Der Auftakt der Kollegialen Fallberatung bietet eine strukturierte Beratung für Menschen im Engagement- und Organisationskontext. Der Fokus liegt auf Diversitätsorientierung. Die Veranstaltung richtet sich an Fachkräfte und Engagierte.
German Foundation for Commitment and Volunteering
The Day of Honour is a nationwide day of participation on 23 May 2026 on the birthday of the Basic Law. You can get involved with your own activities or take part in local events. The initiative under the patronage of the Federal President shows how commitment connects people. Actions take place digitally and locally and bring democracy visibly to life.

Der Tag der Nachbarschaft ist ein bundesweiter Aktionstag für Begegnung im direkten Wohnumfeld. Menschen, Initiativen und Organisationen können eigene Nachbarschaftsaktionen planen und anmelden. Ziel ist es, Kontakte zu stärken und gemeinschaftliche Aktivitäten im Viertel zu ermöglichen. Aktionen finden gleichzeitig in vielen Städten und Gemeinden statt.
House of Resources Berlin
The House of Resources Berlin is celebrating its tenth anniversary. On 4 June, committed individuals as well as people from politics and administration will come together in the KulturMarktHalle in Prenzlauer Berg. The event will look back on established networks and experiences and look ahead. The focus will be on the question of how commitment can remain effective in uncertain times.

Civic Engagement Week is a nationwide week of action that highlights the diversity of volunteering. Actions and events are planned from 11 to 20 September 2026. Volunteers can register their own activities.
