Hello, we'd like to show you the new website engagiertes.berlin .

This site is for all people in Berlin who are involved in voluntary work . The site collects important information in one place.

For example, you will find these important topics

  • Funding : Where can you get money for your projects?
  • Rooms: Where can you meet free of charge?
  • Tools: digital aids for working with computers.
  • Awards: What awards are there for commitment?
  • Events: When are important events taking place?

You will also find addresses of advice centres and training courses . In this way, the site helps everyone who is committed to Berlin.

The website has a clear navigation. At the top there are five main points (also called finder), as you can find things here, such as

  3. Rooms (leads to a separate search tool)
  4. Prices
  5. Events

Below this, there is a sub-navigation with further information, for example on advice centres, further training centres, funding programmes, knowledge contributions or a sub-page for participation . Under Participate, you can also submit information yourself, for example on funding programmes or further education courses.

Declaration on accessibility

This website should be easy to use for everyone . We therefore orientate ourselves on the current rules for accessibility (WCAG guidelines).

Accessibility status:
The website is partially accessible .

Positively implemented (design):
The basic design is accessible: the colours , fonts and general texts are easy to use.

Current steps:
We are currently having the website checked by an external service provider and are working on obtaining an accessibility certificate .
